On the 14th of May 2015, students and staff at St. Brendan’s College will mark the end to school life in the current, ageing school building. Students and staff will be given an opportunity to reflect and share their experiences and memories which will be recorded and placed in a time capsule. This time capsule will then be buried when the new school is completed.
In keeping with the vision of Blessed Edmund Rice, St. Brendan’s College endeavours to provide a holistic education for our students; this was evident at the past pupils' reunion. Although it is the end of an era, it is not an end to St. Brendan’s distinctive history and traditions or it’s inspiring spirit; instead it’s a new adventure for staff and students alike.
We the staff and students of St. Brendan's are proud of our school; of how it has shaped us as students and as individuals and impressed upon us the importance of community. We believe our school and what it represents is a focal point of our parish, constantly striving to improve and strengthen links with its community. We are excited about the opening of the new building and look forward to beginning a new era as a school community.
